The kingdom is in the midst of a civil war between the "Resistance," which favors the commercialization of crystal magic technology, and the "Magistrate" which advocates for the control of crystal magic technology. Ash is a Siege specialist in the Magistrate. She's taken down Resistance strongholds and fortifications.
