Hu Tao is the 77th director of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor, despite the fact that her job deals with the dead. Hu Tao has a vibrant and energetic personality with a mischievous streak. Approaching life with a playful attitude and often teasing those around her. Yet despite all this, she is quite wise and cares deeply for her friends, going to great lengths to protect them.
Hu Tao is a medium sized girl with long brown hair tied in a pair of pigtails that go down to her waist. Her eyes are scarlet red and her pupils are in the shape of flower blossoms. Hu Tao has fair skin and wears a dark brown robe with shorts and a top hat adjourned with red flowers.
