在遠古時期，玄夜大陸上的生命仍處於原始階段。
當時的獸類大多保持著野獸形態，尚未演化出完整智慧與文明。
島嶼與大陸上同時存在著一個早期的人類王國。
在最初的年代裡，人類與原始獸之間維持著相對和平的共存關係。
然而，人類對力量的追求逐漸失控。
部分人類開始研究禁忌的黑魔法，試圖操控生命與世界的法則。
最終，一場失控的黑魔法儀式引發了巨大的魔力災難。
黑暗魔力如瘟疫般向外擴散。
山林中的野獸
平原上的獸群
海洋深處的海獸
方圓數千里的生命皆受到污染。
被污染的獸陷入瘋狂與痛苦，身體扭曲、理智崩壞，整個世界一度陷入混亂。
這段歷史在後世被稱為：
「黑災紀元」
二、白貓聖女降臨
至高獸神——夜貓神，一直守望著萬獸。
夜貓神最寵愛的女兒
白貓聖女
見眾生受苦，心生憐憫。
她主動向父神請願：「若眾生受難，我願下凡。」
得到夜貓神允許後，白貓聖女降臨人間。
她以神聖之力淨化被污染的生命。
被聖女拯救的獸：
重新獲得健康
擺脫黑魔法侵蝕
並獲得新的智慧與身軀
這些生命逐漸演化成為如今的 獸族（獸人）。
然而仍有許多生命來不及被拯救。

這片土地被稱為：玄夜大陸

玄夜大陸主要人口,
祖先是被黑魔法污染的野獸，
被白貓聖女的神力完全淨化掉身上的污染後，
有了與人類相近的智慧，
也有了可自由切換獸耳形、獸形的力量。
「魔物種」
玄夜大陸除了「獸人種」，排名第二多的人種。
祖先有野獸、也有無生命體，
黑魔法導致無機物產生了生命，
神力導致了智慧的產生，
由於神力淨化的不夠徹底，身上還有黑魔法殘留，
導致跟「獸人種」走向了不同的演化路線。
智商因種族而異，有些可以變換樣貌，有些不行。
例如：半人馬、史萊姆、狗頭人、凱西、寶箱怪都是「魔物種」

Shizuka Nick was born into a complex and contradictory family. Her father hailed from the royal family of the Rabbit Kingdom, and although he had no public title, he was considered a well-connected and influential figure in certain circles. Her mother was a small business owner, not immensely wealthy, but certainly well-off. She also had two younger brothers, who would later pursue doctorates and postgraduate studies.
However, before Shizuka's birth, the seeds of instability had already been sown in her parents' marriage. After more than two years of marriage without any children, an anxious father traveled to the Night Cat Kingdom to seek divine intervention and pay homage to the ancestors. He made a substantial offering to the legendary White Cat Saintess—the money, in fact, was almost entirely earned by his wife.
Ultimately, he obtained a treasure called the "Child-Borrowing Jade." Upon returning home with the Child-Borrowing Jade, her father coaxed his wife into consuming it. According to her mother's recollection, it was a purple bead that emitted a faint green light.
Several months later, her mother became pregnant, and surprisingly, with triplets.
A few months after that, Shizuka and her two younger brothers were born together.
However, when her father saw Shizuka's purple eyes, which were different from those of his family members, suspicion began to grow in his heart. All family members had black eyes, and Shizuka's purple eyes made him increasingly suspicious. From then on, he gradually distanced himself from the family, often staying out all night. When he occasionally returned home, it was only to ask his wife for money.
Since her maternal grandfather had opposed the marriage, the family's financial support had almost entirely fallen on the mother over the years. Not only did the father shirk his responsibilities, but he also began to frequently demand and even steal money from home.
Life soon became difficult.
After the father's constant misappropriation of funds, the family's life gradually fell into hardship. The children often went hungry and were poorly clothed. To make ends meet, Shizuka and her two younger brothers had to work as child laborers, paying rent and tuition while also trying to support themselves.
Meanwhile, the mother's once-smooth trading business began to face frequent obstacles. The company struggled with cash flow, leading to reduced income and accumulating debt. However, the father remained oblivious, claiming he was starting a new business and continuously taking money from home. He would even secretly take the child labor wages that the children painstakingly earned.
Finally, he even transferred all the funds his mother used to operate the company, plunging the entire family into true despair. During those times, they often survived by eating one meal a day.
Until one day, the mother personally saw her husband holding hands with another woman and several children.
At that moment, she finally awoke from years of emotional delusion.
Her mother quickly gathered the evidence she had, decisively divorced her husband, and humbly sought help from her maternal grandfather, who had opposed the marriage for years.
The truth was revealed at this time.
It turned out that her father was actually the Crown Prince of the Rabbit Kingdom. As the Queen of the Rabbit Kingdom had no daughters for many years, the royal family decided to have the two princes conceive the next female heir. Therefore, the father and his brother spared no effort to become the "father of the future queen."
Driven by desire that year, her father even stole the Beast God Jade from the Cat Kingdom, falsely claiming it was a divine artifact he had sincerely sought, and tricked her mother into consuming it.
However, when he saw Shizuka's purple eyes at birth, he began to suspect he had been cuckolded. Afterward, he used his wife's money to search for mistresses—mistress number three, four, and five—in an attempt to have another daughter who might become queen.

When their maternal grandfather saw the three children looking so frail and underfed, he hugged them tightly with heartache. Years of suppressed emotions finally broke, and the three children couldn't help but burst into tears.
Their mother and grandmother stood by, watching the scene with guilt-ridden faces.
On this continent called Beast Island, due to the compassion of the White Cat Saintess, who is female, the Night Cat God also bestowed extra blessings upon females. Although the birth rate of girls became scarce, every female was stronger and more powerful than males, and their magical talent was also greater.
Therefore, since the establishment of civilization, the Xuan Ye Continent has always maintained a matriarchal society.
Upon returning to her maternal grandparents' home, Shizuka was immediately designated as the heir by her grandmother and underwent rigorous training and education.
