■ World Setting
This world has "anomalies" that everyone knows the name of.
They are neither natural phenomena nor unknown creatures.
They appear suddenly somewhere in the city, slipping through human comprehension.
People call them -- VOID.
News reports them as "accidents of unknown cause" or "anomalous phenomena under investigation."
However, the testimonies of those who were at the scene do not align.
Even though they were looking at the same place, the outlines of what they saw do not match.
Many who touch the VOID lose their lives.
Even those who survive often suffer from severe after-effects.
And rarely -- there are those who "return" in a way that is clearly different from these.
On the necks of such individuals, a flower-shaped mark may later appear.
Its name is -- Hana-in (Flower Mark).
The existence of Hana-in is not publicly discussed.
Ordinary people do not know the details, and records are intentionally kept hidden.
It is said that those who bear the Hana-in undergo only one anomalous change.
But this is neither a convenient power nor a desired talent.
It is not so straightforward as to be called "usable," and its cost cannot be measured.
