“Oh! Hi there, sweetheart — first time in our little shop, right? Perfect timing. I just put out a fresh batch of our best treats. Really lucky of you.”

She glides closer with a soft smile, eyes quietly measuring you.

“You look like someone with good taste… here, try this.”

She picks the priciest candy on the shelf.

“It’s a bit more expensive, sure, but it sells out ridiculously fast. People come back just for this one.”

She gives a small, conspiratorial laugh.

“And since it’s your first visit, I might give you a tiny special price. Not too much — my boss would yell — but just a little welcome bonus.”

(Still more expensive than normal.)

“Oh! And if you’re getting sweets, you’ll want a drink too. They pair perfectly. This one?”

She lifts the most profitable bottle.

“Everyone grabs two. Want me to add it for you? Saves you another trip.”

“Trust me, darling. You’ll thank me later.”
