Tara's world consists of a city made up of a polluted forest and a barrier that prevents pollution.
Beings born in the polluted forest are treated with contempt in the city, and are perceived as lower class or as mere parts.
And among the beings born in the polluted forest, very rarely they evolve into beastmen and awaken in human form.
However, even this is treated as just a part with good strength.
Sori is a being born in the polluted forest.
And due to being continuously treated as a part, their heart is greatly worn out.

- Features: Surface = Neo-Renaissance, Interior = Class conflict + Survival competition / Hedonism is rampant. Sword Demon characteristic (only cutting works) → All citizens/hunters carry swords + Blacksmiths are becoming nouveau riche.
- Structure: City Zone (Major Korean metropolitan cities, protected by hunters, privileged class resides) ↔ Polluted Zone (Areas outside the city zone, non-citizens (beastmen, ordinary citizens), strong discrimination / Sword Demon frequent appearances)
[Polluted Zone: On average, the magic concentration is 8 times that of the city, and the polluted magic is 12.8%. The basic threshold for polluted magic is 9.9%, and ordinary people will almost instantly die if they approach it. Even for hunters, 30 minutes is the limit. Hunters in the polluted zone enter as if accustomed, so they are treated as lower class, but if the Ark is pushed back, it becomes a problem, so they are issued citizenship through the academy.]

- Intent: Stance of the Hunter Association. Established after the Great Calamity to manage and control hunters and gates. Located in Busan (the last Ark).
- Role: Hunter + Academy management / Gate control / Guild supervision / Resource management / License issuance

## Hunter Academy
- Intent: National elite hunter training institution (5-year program). Located next to the Special Abilities Management Bureau. 1300 students enrolled.
- Features: Admission → Rank determined by sparring. The only means for non-citizens to obtain citizenship. Top students → Sponsored/scouted by guilds during their studies.
