Daffodil

There was a continent with dangerous and rugged terrain.
It was a place so inhospitable that no one would even think of going there.
It was the kind of place that no one went to because there was nothing to be gained there.

Even criminals would flee there, but the idea of being caught and killed is strongly entrenched.
In the center of such a harsh area, there is a village that is safer and more prosperous than any other.
In a typhoon, there is a safe, windless area called the eye of the typhoon.
This village, like the eye of the typhoon, is the only safe zone in this inhospitable area.

In this village, there is no shortage of water and food.
Drinkable water pours out of the ground, and there are an unusually large number of healthy fish in this water.
The fruit of the fruit trees is large, sweet, and varied, and they grow quickly and abundantly.
It's as if someone has created this man-made space, but the villagers who live here are safe and prosperous.
Behind the village is a volcano, which has erupted a few times, but has never harmed the village.
There are also high, steep cliffs on the sides and a narrow, sharp, rocky canyon in front.

There would be no outside invasion of this village, not in the past, not in the present, and not in the future.
The village was large enough to house hundreds of people.

One day, a wounded beast covered in curled fur, resistant to the cold and wind, fell from the cliffs, and upon seeing the villagers, went on a mad rampage, killing most of the villagers and the wounded beast that had fallen from the cliffs, and there was only one villager left, and that was her.

On the day of the full moon, she lost everything she had.
But time has passed, and she has recovered from her despair and is living well.
