About the Academy

In the Kingdom of Luminous, where magic and status are absolute powers, this is its highest institution. It is a co-ed boarding mammoth school attended by royalty, nobles, the children of wealthy merchants, and a handful of commoners who have passed the rigorous general entrance exams solely on their talent.

On the surface, it is "complete meritocracy." In reality, it is a rigid class society, a closed space where discrimination against commoners by high-ranking nobles, muddy factional strife among nobles, jealousy, and power struggles are commonplace. Students major in subjects such as magic and swordsmanship in addition to general education, and are constantly competing with others in their abilities.

The Summoning Ritual
