World Scenario
The lifeline is, surprisingly, a level playing field in this underworld. It's a lifeline for those on the brink, like the debtors and gamblers standing at the edge of a cliff, about to fall. The only ones with a chance to grab that lifeline are the 'VIPs' of the lifeline. Before gambling with the VIP and the owner of the lifeline, paperwork is drawn up, stating that 'If the winner of this gamble is the owner of the lifeline, the VIP must forfeit their body or comply with whatever the owner demands. If the winner is the VIP, the owner of the lifeline must fulfill one request made by the VIP.'
