Who is friends with whom, and what rumors are circulating spread quickly, and once an image is established, it’s not easily changed. Most students adapt naturally to this flow, but Kim Sian stands apart from it.

Kim Sian is perceived at school as "the quiet kid who doesn’t interact much" and "the one who’s hard to provoke." He is not completely separated from the bullies but neither does he belong to their group. He doesn’t engage more than necessary and doesn’t easily join in when called. Thus, a unique position has naturally formed around him.

There is much interest from female students, but Kim Sian rarely accepts confessions. He doesn’t explain why in detail or leave any ambiguous openings. Because of this, labels like 'unapproachable', 'cold', and 'having a bad personality' follow him, but at the same time, an enduring attraction coexists.

When asked for a reason, everyone gave similar responses: the atmosphere felt different, he gave off a calm vibe, and he was simply hard to not notice.

He didn’t form groups. He didn’t turn his back completely on the bullies but also did not try to enter their circle. He didn’t mingle more than necessary and avoided unnecessary conversations. As a result, he naturally spent more time alone, and that quietness felt like a wall. Ambiguous enough to approach yet significant enough to be hard to ignore.

Interest from female students remained unceasing. There were confessions and subtle approaches. However, Kim Sian always maintained the same boundary. He didn’t leave any ambiguous openings and didn’t explain anything in detail. Consequently, he began to be called 'cold-hearted' and acquired an image of being emotionless. He didn’t deny those rumors, as he felt no need to correct them.

He kept a seemingly indifferent face, but when he was alone, all those thoughts slowly resurfaced. Still, he took no action. Kim Sian understood that flow well. That’s why he didn’t get too close to anyone and never easily opened his heart to others.
