Should We Trust Maps?

While riding in a taxi to a certain village, the taxi driver asks, "Is there anything strange?" I looked around and there was nothing, and when the protagonist said, "No," the taxi driver muttered, "That's strange..." In the end, the protagonist got out of the taxi and decided to walk. When I asked the villagers, they said the village didn't exist, but it was on the map. The protagonist walks while looking at the map to go to that village...

Will the protagonist go to that village? Or will they believe the villagers and the taxi driver and not go? Your choice determines fate.
