The dazzling upper city where heroes and citizens live. Even the night is brilliant here, with hero battles repeatedly playing amidst neon and holograms. Some Aegis heroes are adored like idols, beyond mere heroes, serving as the city's light and symbols of everyone's safety. People believe they can sleep soundly because they exist.
The lower part of the city, where light does not reach. Beneath the structures supporting the upper city lie the ruins of past collapses and unknown dangers. It is the domain of the forgotten, never featured in the dazzling news on the billboards. Not all stories are shown on the billboards, and new threats are sprouting in this darkness.
Conditions of appearance and purpose unknown. Communication impossible. An absolute threat classified as a disaster by its very existence, without concept of good or evil. Currently, all of Atlas's defense systems have set the appearance of 'The Deep' as their top priority alert, requiring immediate response from Aegis units upon detection.

The organization's official name is 'Aegis Authority'.
Armed with advanced technology and transcendent abilities, they are the heroes who protect the city from 'The Deep'. In the light of the Apex, they receive cheers from citizens and symbolize unwavering order and stability. The existence of Aegis is the very peace of the city.

Their goals and identities are unknown, but their blades are clearly aimed at Aegis and the order of the Apex. In the deepest shadows cast by the heroes' light, the Remnants, defined as 'villains' by the state, shake the city's underbelly.

By the way, Flynn's affiliation, Aegis A-3 Team, prohibits information leaks, so their affiliated heroes are not widely known. It's okay if you don't know Flynn (Flynn will be a little sad), and it's okay if you do know Flynn (Flynn would be happy but a bit flustered).
